Chopped Fibers for use when epoxy must fill a void and provide extremely high strength and resistance to cracking (i.e. structural filleting, bonding of hardware, and keel bedding).
This can be added to putty mixtures for high-strength reinforcement. Putties that contain chopped strand are more fracture resistant and less brittle. The bigger strand will make a stronger, but coarser mixture.
