Monterey is Sea Hawk's solvent-free water based bottom paint that is designed to give the best protection against all types of marine fouling, while remaining friendly to the environment. Monterey is a semi-hard, ablative finish that is easy to apply. It is compatible with most paints on the market and can be applied over most existing bottom paint in good condition. Monterey can also withstand removal from water without affecting its antifouling abilities. Monterey has over 55% copper and is used by Carver Yachts and other yacht builders. Since this water based bottom paint has extremly low VOC's, it's an excellent choice for application of bottom paint indoors. This was really easy to apply and smelled like house paint. Performance is awesome....no need to ever use a solvent based bottom paint again!
